Two large rocks (one with fossils) which were found on the farm feature on the spacious lawn which is surrounded by an attractive mixture of mature shrubs. These provide shelter, nesting sites and food for our resident and visiting birds (over 25 species annually) from wrens to pheasants and hawks. It has also been home to families of rabbits, hedgehogs and stoats.
The lower garden has provided soft fruit, herbs and vegetables for the family and is now being redeveloped to also include a quiet seating area, shrubs, colourful perennials and a plant selection to encourage more birds, butterflies and bees.
